The last of the summer wine.

I can’t quite believe that we’ve just completed the last MVSC ride for 2024. It seems such a short time ago that we all met for the first one, also at Glooston village hall with another fantastic curry afterwards on April 10th! The last event saw 18 riders across three groups led by May Naylor, […]

News – The Bell, Gumley

We were treated to fine weather, routes, food and beer this week at the wonderful ‘Bell’ in Gumley. There were three led rides – Pete Condon’s 13 miler, Nick Fenwick’s 17 miler (with some good hills) and Phil Rayner’s 22 miler that was pretty flat and fast until the last climb up the infamous ‘Heart […]

News – The Bell, Burton Overy

Thai Night At Hallaton

We had a lovely ride out last night from The Bewick in Hallaton, and the weather was kind to us with a very pretty sky and the countryside looking glorious.

News from Squire T

June 19th saw us all descend on the Bell at Burton Overy. Great weather although quite a chilly breeze when you stopped. On the long ride group we experienced quite a number of ‘angry’ drivers – often in 4×4’s.

News from Squire T

We had a slight change to MVSC protocol this week when we visited the Cock Inn at Peatling Magna as the pub doesn’t do food. What it does do is great beer and gives us the opportunity to try some routes that are less well known to many.
