We will be organising two rides from The Fox & Goose at Illston on the Hill on Saturday 1st November at 10’oclock. We will ride to South Croxton to pay our respects to Mike’s resting place and return to the Fox & Goose at Illston for drinks and food afterwards. If you are interested we need numbers for food. Due to limited parking in the village if you can please ride out to this event. Look forward to seeing you all.

What is Summer Cycling?
Mike’s Wednesday night summer cycling was formed to provide and promote recreational cycling in the heart of south Leicestershire countryside during the summer months between April & End of August. The cycling is “all-inclusive” which means that everyone is welcome. The groups meet at a local pub every Wednesday at 6:30 pm prompt. There are usually three lead rides:
- 12-14 Miles Recreational & Electric Bike Ride – Average 12 mph
- 18-20 Miles Moderate Ride – Average 14 mph
- 20-25 Miles Extended Ride – Average >16 mph
After the ride, we usually meet up for a bite to eat or a drink afterwards.
- Please ensure that your bike is roadworthy
