Another great turnout at the “Italian Greyhound” in Great Glen. I think the pub was a bit overwhelmed by the number of people that were there but I think the evening went well. Although Nick Timms seemed to have lost some of his riders on the long route! Anyway thanks to everyone and look forward to seeing you all next week at Glooston.
Chilli Night Glooston 10th May
By popular demand, we are holding a chilli night at Glooston Village Hall on Wednesday 10th May. There will be a Vegetarian and Meat Option, at a price of £9.00 per head. As this is a very popular event book early.
In addition to this, the premise is licensed to sell beer, wine and cider. This is a great opportunity for all of us to get together for a real “social” and we hope to see you all.
In order to get numbers to cater for the number of folks who would like chilli, can we please ask you to book here. On the booking sheet you will find the option for either veggie or meat chilli.
Mcmillan Harborough Sportive Ride Saturday 20th May
Also, there is a Mcmillan Harborough Sportive Ride on Saturday 20th May with road routes and off-road options.
The event includes a free refreshment stop for all the routes and you can also enjoy hot drinks, hot food and sweet treats and a beer at Grange Farm, the start and finish point, which is also home to the Langtons Brewery who are offering a free beer to finishers (over 18). Friends and family are welcome to support you and enjoy the atmosphere on the day
