The Mike Vybiral Memorial Welland Wonders Autumn Adventure is a bike ride you won’t want to miss.

So as we enter the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness; be sure to put Saturday, September 24th in your diary for an amazing day out on two wheels.

Mike organised the Welland Wonders audax for many years, and Welland Valley CC is proud to continue the ride in his memory.

There are three stunning routes to choose from on the new Autumn Adventure event; with an entry fee of just £5, and all proceeds going to Mike’s favourite charities.

The ride is no longer an official audax (or a sportive for that matter), but it’ll be just as much fun to do with clubmates, friends and family.

This is not a sportive and is similar to our Winter Reliability Ride.  Think of it as our end of season unreliability ride with no route markers or support.  All riders are expected to be self-reliant.

There are three  courses to choose from:

Cost – £5 per person with all proceeds, net of costs, going to Mike’s chosen charities.  Payment by credit card on the day

Refreshments – tea, coffee and biscuits available at start for no additional cost.  Drinks and cobs available at the end for small donation.

Ride HQ – Husbands Bosworth sports pavilion, Kilworth Road, Husbands Bosworth LE17 6JW. There are proper toilets and there will be safe storage at HQ. HQ opens at 8 am.

Registration – on the day.  No pre-registration required.

Parking – available on site

Timing – First rides off as soon as registered.  HQ closes at 17.30 hrs.

Parental Consent – Riders aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and you will need to have a parental consent form (so click this link to download)
