This weekend proved eventful with lots going on:  The Langton Beer Festival took place from Friday evening to Sunday and was very popular with everybody and we were extremely lucky with this gorgeous weather.  In addition,  the main cycling event on Saturday was the ‘Johnno’s 100 mile Memorial Ride’ from The Cock Inn at Peatling Magna organised by Rick Newham, Patrice Carter and Phil Rayner.  The event raised a fantastic £1,250 for Loros.  The heat made the ride very challenging with welcomed stops at Gilmorton & Tur Langton.  Some of us took a detour to ride past Mike Vybiral’s house to raise a glass to him.  On returning back to the Cock Inn there was entertainment and well-earned refreshments. Well done everyone!!
