Welcome to this latest update of the Summer Cycling 2023 website. It seems to have been a long winter but finally, the evenings are beginning to lengthen out and that can only mean one thing it is time to start riding on Wednesday evenings with the Mike Vybiral Summer Cycling community (MVSC).  I think we all agree that last year’s rides and socialising were a real success and something that Mike would have been very pleased to see.

So, let’s get this started! The first ride is breaking new ground for the MVSC and will be from the Chandlers Arms at Shearsby, there is on-street parking, but please park considerately and ideally those that can ride to the venue. The normal plan remains in that we all will be “pedal ready” at 6:30 pm. Initially,  we plan to have three led rides (approximately 10, 15 ,20. miles). the mileage will increase slightly as the nights continue to lengthen (as in previous years).

For those who like to eat below you will find a copy of the menu (this does change a little from week to week but gives you an idea). Please order before you ride at the bar or over the phone and make sure you are back at the pub latest 8:15 pm.
